Hello, I'm Amber!

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), with the British Columbia Association

of Clinical Counsellors. I received my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Trinity Western University and have been working in the mental health field in a variety of capacities since 2011. I established Relate & Reflect Counselling in 2020 as a virtual counselling space.

I understand the courage it takes to confront one’s own pain and trauma. 

Through my training in various evidence-based therapy modalities, including Somatic Attachment Psychotherapy (SAP), Accelerated, Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) and Core Self Reclamation Therapy (CSRT), and Trauma Informed Stabilization Treatment (TIST). I offer a unique blend of relational and experiential techniques to guide you towards healing and self-compassion. My approach is rooted in creating a safe and collaborative space where you can explore your emotions and experiences. Together, we will work towards understanding how past challenges have impacted you and develop practical tools to navigate life's complexities today.
